Christmas Concert and Temple Square
Saturday morning Lacey and I made and decorated Christmas sugar cookies while listening to Christmas music.
Saturday afternoon Trevor’s Mom, Lisa, invited me to go to the What Women Want expo with her and her daughter Melissa, and daughter-in-law June. It was very fun. I was so happy they invited me to their girls’ afternoon – made me feel very special. I really like them all, and appreciate them reaching out to me and including me like that.
June gave me a Christmas present from her and Jeremy, which was so thoughtful. Lisa also told me she and her husband, Craig, are planning on getting something for me as well – I can’t express how much that meant to me. They are just so sweet and welcoming of me, it makes me feel so wanted in their family. They all think so much of Trevor and have such sweet things to say about him, it is so cute.
After the expo, Trevor picked me up so we could go to a Christmas concert at the Tabernacle.
Andrew set up a triple date, and invited us. It was snowing (the second time this year – Utah needs to get with the Christmas spirit!) so it was beautiful downtown. Last time we went it was raining.
The concert was incredible!! The song selection was phenomenal (minus a rendition of popcorn popping on the apricot tree -I still cannot see how this ties into Christmas at all, especially in an interfaith concert) and the choirs were great. It was awesome.
After, we all went to the Blue Lemon and had hot chocolate. Everyone split after that, and Trevor and I walked through temple square in the snowfall – it was awesome.
The snow made the ground slick, and we had fun sliding through temple square. We had a blast. It is so fun to just mess around with him, playing in the snow and joking around.
