Santa, Baby!
The Schauerhamer's have a Christmas tradition, where they take a picture with Santa every year. Lisa has pictures of her with Santa her entire life, and she and Craig got one when they were dating. They have taken a picture of their kids with Santa every year since they were born. They are now getting Santa pictures with all their kids and their grandchild, Rozlyn. Pretty cool tradition.
This year, Lisa insisted we get a Santa picture.
Seriously, how cute are we!???
On Saturday Trevor had some friends come in from Ceder City, so we had planned to meet up with them to go ice skating at the Gallivan Center and then see the lights on temple square.
At 6 I get a text from Trevor, saying he cut his thumb pretty badly. He was bleeding a lot, and was home alone. So I went over to make sure he didn't need stitches and ensure he didn't pass out from loss of blood or something. I'm a girl - I worry.
He had bought his very first gun earlier in the day. He had gone shooting, so he came home and wanted to clean it. He couldn't get a piece off the cleaning fluid bottle, so was trying to cut it off and cut his thumb instead. It was actually pretty deep - it was borderline needing stitches.
It was bleeding quite a bit, and all he was worried about was finishing cleaning his gun. It kept opening up again with the movements of him cleaning his gun, so I finally got him to sit down and we watched XFactor a bit - and as soon as it wasn't bleeding, he went back to cleaning his gun.
We did make it ice skating later that night, which was very fun!
He couldn't really lace his skates without opening the wound again - so I laced them for him and apparently some lady was giving him a dirty look the whole time. Haha.
We went to temple square after - for the 3rd time this year. It never gets get less magical, FYI.
Love,
Brittney
