Staycation

Househunting has been the worst. Trevor being gone for a business trip has been the absolute worst. We're stressed. We miss Daddy. So we took a family staycation! I was excited but a little disappointed we couldn't go somewhere to make it legit.

Boy was I wrong. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!

We went to the dinosaur museum in Ogden. Everyone had way too much fun! Oliver was crazy about the dinosaurs, and he remembered each one and would get really upset if we went past the same dinosaur twice. On the way I asked the twins if they were excited to see dinosaurs, and Oliver would yell and scream "Yess!!" I asked Savannah, and she said "can we go shopping for princess dresses?" Hahaha. After we left, Oliver was crying because he wanted to stay. Savannah asks "can we go shopping for princess dresses now?" She's so stinking funny.

We had waffles for breakfast! (these are all out of order).

We went to dinner with Grammy and Grandma at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

We went to the Hill Airforce Museum on Memorial day, which was a really wonderful experience.

Of course, we went swimming!

We went to visit Grandpa Orr's grave with Grammy and Lisa. That was a special experience for the whole family.

We went to the zoo!! We have a season pass, which we have been loving. Savannah was on day 2 of wearing her 'princess jammies'. This nightgown is her favorite thing to wear.

We went to Farmington Station and the twins got their first Build-a-Bear! Craig and Lisa gave the twins a gift certificate there for Christmas when the twins were 1. We didn't want to use it until they could actually pick out what they wanted. We've gone in every once in a while over the last 2 years to gauge their readiness, and they just never really understood they could pick or why it was special. Until now! They were sooo excited to pick. It definitely wasn't easy,  but Savannah settled on Princess Poppy from Trolls (which she hadn't seen yet, she just liked she was pink) and Oliver picked a dinosaur.

We watched movies, and just spent a lot of time as a family. We seriously had so much fun! We did a lot of fun things in just 3 days, and made so many amazing memories.
