Temple Tuesday

Trevor and I went to the Salt Lake Temple tonight for date night (this week is going to be pretty crazy so today was our date night).

 

I love Temple Square with all the lights! It's truly incredible.

 

 

Going to the temple together has been one of my favorite parts of married life. It's added such an amazing aspect to our marriage. Since we started going regularly, I've felt the change in both of us as individuals, and in our marriage.

 

 

We did Sealings today, my first time doing them since getting married. It was so amazing to kneel across the alter from Trevor and hear the covenants we made to each other and God.

 

 

I truly love him so much more now than I did on the day we got married.

 

I was sitting in the temple, just checking him out. He is so ridiculously handsome! I just felt so much peace and assurance that I made an incredible decision in marrying Trevor.

 

 

There have definitely been some really hard times in the 5 months we have been married. But there have also been some of the happiest moments of my life. Learning how to be married isn't always easy - but it's also the most incredible thing.

 

I'm so grateful for the temple and that I've lived my life so I am worthy to enter. I'm grateful I waited to find Trevor instead of settling for other guys I've dated. Marrying him has truly been the most amazing and wonderful thing in my life.
