Ode on a Rambo
Oh Rambo
Where art Thou?
Once upon a moon so clear,
we were together, you and I, dear
We talked and laughed endless hours
But together we did not take any showers.
White Christmas, Gilmore Girls, Coraline -
Oh for you, I shall always pine!
So much time, so much fin
And then, like that - our time was done!
A series of flights we took
But together, no need for a book.
Our destination would sepersate us, my love
Into two different worlds, we've been shoved.
With one day together in a land so supreme,
The architecture divine, simply a dream!
Let's break into a cathedral (twice for good measure) and i'll make sure you're fed
With your weight in pastries, cheese and God's bread.
We'll stand behind a drug lord
And never, ever be bored.
We'll get lost and ride around the track
But in the end, don't worry - we'll get back!
But good memories alone, won't make it
The time apart, definitely will shake it!
Texts and chats alone - no no!
So to you, my love, I will go!
Two (possibly three) nights
We'll never, ever turn off the lights!
You'll be there, yes you will,
All weekend we'll be keepin' it real
Because I'm a better poet
AND YOU KNOW IT!
Love,
Brittney
