Gratitude

Dear Lord,

I just want to say

I saw your hand in my life today.

I was weary and sad,

And my attitude quite bad.

And yet, through my tears

I remembered over the years

The moments of joy and peace

And at once, I had my sweet release.

Thank Thee, Lord,

for the smiles, laughter and pain

For the sun and the breaks in the rain

For the good and the bad.
